![]() ![]() I'll just try it when I have my new computer set up, since I'll be able to play with Intel HD instead of just my R9 280. Anyways, I hope the fixes and such work well for you. Compatibility issues are never the developer's fault, it's something that comes up from years of age because you're playing with hardware vastly beyond any expectations, completely different in design, and double the performance of what the developers even thought was possible back then. Take out your silent weapon and shoot the guard south of your position. Note: do not use a silent weapon at him as the other guard south from that position will hear the noise. After all, they put their games in trapezoid boxes, they HAVE to be complete pros! But no, I've got plenty of respect for Eidos, don't worry. No other company has pissed me off this much, other than whatever frauds and con-artists are serving as higher-ups at Lenovo. It's a broken, unoptimized mess running both always-online DRM and Denuvo (aka SecuROM 2.0, now with a massive performance impact), with all my support requests disregarded and forgotten. My SquareEnix hate comes from the way they treated me as a customer with Just Cause 3. It isn't Square Enix's fault that a game Eidos developed more than a decade ago has some problems with modern day hardware/software. Also, I feel it is unfair to be upset at a company for not offering support on a 14ish year old game when they have newer more popular titles to worry about. Don't bother messing with INI settings to try and decrease your performance (on a side note anti aliasing will make the game unstable) just download MSI Afterburner and set it to cap your framerate at 60 or whatever (from what I understand framerates above 1024 are what causes the problem), you might feel some framerate drops but this is as good as it gets. ![]() I got the above issue of a black screen when starting the game and it took 1 google search to figure out that the problem was my framerate.
